Name: Daphne Greengrass
Age and date of birth: March 15, 1980 (age, 19)
Physical description: Petite, androgynous looking female. Has pale skin tone, short brunette hair and often wears glasses. Won't be caught dead in a skirt since she left Hogwarts, not the slightest bit feminine.
Parents’ Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.) While both of Daphne's parents are pure-bloods, they kept neutral in the war and were fully supportive of Daphne's decision to do the same and study with her Potions Master.
Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.) Daphne's personal alliance is to herself.
How do people perceive this character: Rather quiet and studious so she is often times perceived as snobby. Being in Slytherin only furthers that idea from her former classmates from the other houses.
Greatest fear: Death by Muggle transportation
Greatest passion: Potions
Aspiration: To be able to successfully come up with the perfect memory restorative potion, thus proving to both of her masters she is worth her ilk.
Does your character value the purity of blood: While Daphne is not familiar of Muggle's ways, she does not disparage against them. Her parents and many classmates have shown her that purity of blood does not determine how much magic you have, how powerful you are or how good of a witch/wizard one can be.
Is your character "pure-blooded," a "half-blood" or "Muggle-born": pure-blood
Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive): Daphne was raised in an unprejudiced home in Sheffield, England. Both her mother and father were pure-blooded Slytherins and while they did teach Daphne that blood purity was a non-issue, she was raised to be cunning and ruthless, and to not stop until she got what she wanted. As she was an only child, this made her a bit spoiled growing up, but it has also translated into her being a determined, hard nosed adult, not stopping until she achieves her goals in life.
She was sorted into Slytherin and fell behind the shadow of her more boisterous year mates of Draco Malfoy and her friend and secret crush, Pansy Parkinson. During her fifth year when she told her head of house her interest in becoming a Potions Master, she began her apprenticeship under Severus Snape. When Snape fled Hogwarts at the end of her sixth year, she was left afloat in her career until a colleague of Severus', Marcelo D'Agostino contacted her to work under him after she left Hogwarts.
At the end of her seventh year, Daphne took off for Italy to study with Marcelo, effectively keeping her out of the war. She just completed her work and received her Mastery in Potions and is looking forward to contacting Severus to work with him once again.
Why do you want to play the character you chose? I have never been able to play a younger female character before and I think it would be an interesting new challenge. I would also be excited to play a neutral character for once.

Give one plot element you would like to see in the game or would like to suggest. (Your suggestion should not be just for your player, it should be a plot element more than one player can participate in!) I think it would be good for Daphne to go into business with Snape. It would give her an opportunity to meet up with her former Master and also the chance to interact with many other characters.
